| preparation of lithium bromide solution in lithium bromide refrigeration system | lithium bromide purchased from the market has a solution with a concentration of about 50% or a solid of lithium bromide. If the lithium bromide solution is colorless, a lithium chromate corrosion inhibitor with a weight percentage of about 0.3% needs to be added. Lithium chromate should be dissolved in distilled water before addition, and then added to the lithium bromide solution. The lithium bromide solution added with lithium chromate has better corrosion resistance to metal materials when the pH value is 9.5~10.5. The pH value of lithium bromide solution is determined by pH meter or pH test paper, that is, after the solution is stirred evenly, 2mL is sucked out by a pipette and diluted with 5-10 times distilled water, which can be determined. If the pH value is too small for acidic reaction, an appropriate amount of lithium hydroxide can be added to the solution; if the pH value is too large for alkaline reaction, an appropriate amount of bromohydroacid can be added to the solution. When solid lithium bromide is used to prepare the solution, the required solid lithium bromide and distilled water are weighed respectively, and the solid lithium bromide is gradually added to the distilled water and stirred. The addition of lithium chromate corrosion inhibitor and the adjustment of pH value are the same as above. In the refrigeration system, in order to improve the refrigeration capacity of the lithium bromide unit, the film-like condensation of the refrigerant vapor outside the condenser tube must be changed into bead-like condensation to increase the heat and mass transfer effects of the condenser and absorber. Therefore, 0.1% ~ 0.3% n-octanol or isooctanol is added to the lithium bromide solution in proportion to weight. |
